Yes. Dr. Simmonds is contracted with most insurance companies. Give our office a call and we will gladly check your insurance benefits before your first visit.
Wear clothes you can comfortably move around in. Pants that can stretch and move with you are ideal. Skirts and dresses are not ideal.
You will be booked in an hour slot for your first appointment with Dr. Simmonds. This allows her to ask questions about your past health history and learn about your current health status. She will also ask you to perform some simple movements to assess how well you can move.
The first appointment will also include some massage, adjustment, stretching and instruction for some light homework (stretches and/or exercises).
Most people are pleasantly surprised and feel better immediately after their first adjustment.
If the problem has been around for months or years, it may take longer for relief to be felt. Generally, people will feel some relief after their first visit.
Dr. Simmonds will want to see you for your second visit within a week from your first visit, in order to see how your body responded to the adjustment. A treatment plan best suited for your individual needs will be discussed at the the second visit.
Yes! Dr. Simmonds often sees patients who have been involved in car accidents. She will ensure you get the care you need as well as any referrals you may need. The sooner you get care after an accident, the better you'll be!
Yes! Dr. Simmonds is a contracted doctor with Labor & Industries. She will advocate for you to ensure you get the care you need and fascilitate referrals to other specialists if needed.
Yes! When you get adjusted and do the stretches and exercises Dr. Simmonds will prescribe for you, you will stand taller.
